how to use a green screen. Setting up a green screen can give you the opportunity to work with many different digital backgrounds. An important factor when setting up your green screen is having a sufficient light source for the background. Make sure the background is fully lit so that when you're standing in front of it and moving around, you don't cast shadows and change the color of the green behind you. This makes it more difficult to add the digital background and have it continue being fully available during the entire video. Ideally, you want to be about six feet distance away from the fully lit backdrop. When you add a chroma key effect, it will take the chosen color the green in this case and make it transparent. This allows you to add any background you want.
