At the heart of these challenges is the lack of a multifaceted skill set of applied research skills, low adoption of technology in research production, low efficacy on utilization of technology and research work, weak grip on research methods and statistics skill set and the low research operationalization skill set. The African Online School of Applied Research Skills is an African based organization that seeks to utilize online resources to provide varied research skills. The skills range from the theoretical understanding of research methods and statistics. Progressing to the application of these skills and research work development. While leveraging appropriate technologies. We aim to produce graduates who are visiting researchers with multifaceted skill set on both theory and application technology. Savvy on research software utilization as well as intellectually sophisticated and competent to produce impactful research work in a time and resources efficient manner.
