Over the past year, Africa's recovery from the COVID pandemic has been put to the test by overlapping crisis, but the continent has risen strong to face these challenges, working to become more resilient and self sustaining than ever. At our organization, we are proud to have helped nurture this resilience, providing fast responses to hardship and planting the seeds for a stronger recovery. For example, our resilience program in the SALA is improving living conditions, nutrition, security and climate change. Resonance for more than one million people in vulnerable communities such as fishermen and agro pastoralists from across six countries in the region. Ultimately building a more equitable integrated and productive future for more than 5.5 million African people, the energy projects we support in Egypt are also promoting local residents, creating stronger greener infrastructure that will power the economy and free up much needed resources for all critical areas like healthcare and social safety nets, building parts out of poverty to learn more about our impacts and work.
