in high school, Ricks, primary care doctor, prescribed him flu oxytocin, a selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor to help with his obsessive compulsive symptoms, specifically his intrusive thoughts that he might harm others and his compulsive need for reassurance that he had not. However, due to side effects, he stopped taking the medication.
