She also horrified Chief Asher Hoover by insisting immediately on operating the elevator herself that just isn't done. Mrs Roosevelt, he protested. During Mrs Roosevelt's first day at the White House, a woman reporter telephoned and asked for Mrs Roosevelt's secretary, Malvina Thompson. MS Thompson isn't in a voice replied.
