Interesting! I was told by someone in the casting business that they want to hear the whole spot and not just a few seconds of it. That’s what I do.
The process is subjective, so while a portion of the script would suffice in many cases, some clients or casting agents may prefer the full script.

Apparently all 3 sample scripts were for males only? Aren’t there any available for females? I’d like to be able to participate and utilize them, but I’m a female.
Hi Robin. You can also use these sample scripts if you wish! These are created in the same style as the scripts you’d receive during an audition, and they typically include a gender. For the purposes of creating a demo, you’re welcome to use these scripts or any that we have available here.
Hi Robin. Males or females can use these scripts for practice or as part of their demo reel. Gender is typically specified on scripts (as the clients have an idea in mind of what they’re looking for), so we include it when creating sample scripts.
