Are You On Twitter and We Missed You?

Stephanie Ciccarelli

  1. Hey Stephanie, oddly enough I just joined Twitter 2 days ago and I am slowly figuring it out. I have already cultivated a few solid VO leads from Twitter, so I’m sold. For business only though, no “I just had a lovely peice of Toast” Tweets 🙂

  2. Thank you all for taking part!
If your Twitter was omitted from the original posting, please don’t take it personally. In trying to keep the list to 101 people, one of the the objectives of the list was to include people we already followed and also highlight Twitter users from our industry that we were not yet acquainted with in efforts to also introduce you to a variety of voice over pros you may not have been following before.
We’ll make a more comprehensive directory of Audio Pros on Twitter based upon the conversation held here with the addition of all Twitter profiles in the comments 🙂
    Have a great weekend!
    Best wishes,

  3. Hi Stephanie,
Yes, I have been on Twitter for some time and I believe you are already following me (and I am following you) but I did not notice my name in your list within this issue of Vox Daily. Here are my credentials:
    Twitter Name: DanVoiceoverMan
    Thanks Stephanie.

  4. Please add my twitter name: calcopyrite
ps/ just got my first gig yesterday. Yippee! Check out the 4 star rating from my happy client. Onward and upward.

  5. I’m honored to be included in the original 101 listing, Stephanie! I’m always delighted to meet more friendly folks from the VO world. Thanks greatly for taking the time to compile and share the list! It’s truly a wonderful idea, and I sincerely appreciate it!

  6. @noirdame = I only do VO occasionally myself, but I cast and direct VO folks in both my audiodrama business and day profession (video production).
I want to also rec looking into audiodrama, as many of us have a regular need for voice talent, either local/regional or sourced online.
There’s a “Twibe” for audiodrama (; a regularly used hashtag #audiodrama, and many solid groups you should follow, starting with @finalrune (Fred Greenhalgh of FinalRune Productions and Radio Drama Revival, who was recently profiled in the Wall Street Journal), and @sonicsociety (home to the radio broadcast and podcast).
Another place to follow is @NatAudioTheatre, the twitter feed of the National Audio Theatre Festivals. This weeklong workshop culminates in a live broadcast over local radio, and the Internet, which I had the pleasure to participate in last year. Despite the name, it is not just for fans of audio theatre, as there are many great opportunities for those interested in sound design, voiceover and voice acting. Voiceover pro Kathy Garver gave a stellar master class on voice acting at last year’s conference and ascending pro Lucien Dodge had a great interview and Q/A session with Corey Burton on satellite.
This year NATF is offering special rates for attendance; over the summer, look for people to blog from the NATF with the tag #NATF .
Either way, tell ’em @noirdame sent you!

  7. Hi!
I’m Tom from Tom Daniels Voice
I am a seasoned voice and production pro without my former vehicle (Radio) to gain exposure. That makes me a VO Marketing Novice.
You’ll find me on Twitter as {Tom_Daniels_VO}, Voiceover Universe, Facebook, Plaxo, and AudioBoo. Please follow me on Twitter and the other site, join my network of VO Friends at all the above locations and on
I’m actually interested in knowing the people with whom I network, and will try to learn more about you as a person whenever time permits.
(Somewhere in between managing my career, finances, household, and a family with a wife and 3 small daughters, (Ages 4, 5 & 7.)) Oh did I mention sleep? What’s that?
Seriously though, I would like to know you, so watch for my sometimes serious, sometimes whimsical comments, and replies. Please help me learn to market my VO services so I can feed those hungry little girls,, ;~)
