after the towers fell on 9 11 I knew that it was time for me to serve my country. Freedom and security are worth fighting for. I spent the next few years overseas. I learned a lot about sacrifice. I saw friends of mine give the ultimate sacrifice for the freedom we enjoy. The old saying is so true. Freedom isn't free. After my tour of duty, I started attending a local Louisiana Baptist church and discovered a whole new dimension of freedom. I learned that freedom is not the ability to do whatever I want. It is the power to do the things that really make a difference. I never knew the true freedom was found in a relationship with Jesus. Are you free? It's true. Freedom really is worth celebrating.
