Honey, I tell you, I don't know what made that young lady come in the store that particular day. All I know was there was so many people marching in and out of the ***** Leagues baseball shop that week of the grand opening. That's why Brother Gary he owns the shop asked me to be there. You see, the store isn't just for selling books and videos and shirts and things about baseball. It's about educating people, particularly the Children, about a history, their history. I wasn't even working there at the time, but I was glad to come out that day to meet folks and answer questions about what it was like in the old days of black baseball.
