From our flagship mission to the Genesis homes, from the culinary and technical education centres to the Wildwood Youth Camp, the Detroit Rescue Mission Ministries helps the body, soul and spirit of those most in need. Thanks to generous community support, we have touched thousands of lives already, and in 2009 the Detroit Rescue mission is providing services for some of Detroit's 18,000 homeless. Every night, over one million meals would be served to the homeless and hungry in 2009 80% arm or off. Our clients will find permanent housing without help. Over 1300 will receive treatment for substance abuse. 1000 and counting will be spiritually impacted today alone, and more than 4500 would be shouted in 2009. Yes, we are the Detroit Rescue Mission Ministries. At our core, we are made of people, tireless staff, eager volunteers, generous supporters. Why spiritual leaders with the strength of our community and faith in Jesus Christ, we began our second century of service. Today. The Detroit Rescue Mission Ministries services have never been more important. 10,000 families in Wayne County would become homeless in the next year. As Detroit changes gears, we are supplying important employment and educational opportunities, job placement and personal and spiritual development programs.
