there is simply no closure for a family who has lost a child for the oxen ius family. This is about justice. There's not gonna be closure. And there's this whole that you have in your chest forever. June 29th 2010. That's the day their lives would never be the same. 16 year old Sebastian was playing video games with his friend early that morning when he went to the kitchen to check his computer. There he was shot and killed, but the person who did it disappeared. I'm going to us the question, you know, Do you feel anything when you do this? You know, you didn't even think about his family. His life and that suspect remains a mystery. The family has worked with a private investigator since the tragedy, who's also worked with detectives. Sheriff Sadie Darnell says they believe the suspect is local and that someone, somewhere knows who did this. It is likely to be someone in our community because it happened in early morning hours in a very nice residential area. It could have been intentional. It could have been happenstance. We won't know the answers to those questions until we talk to the offender. The pursuit of justice is the reminder. Every day of that he's gone. So we're trying to stop that. We're trying to make sure that we bring that Tonette and finding that justice is what his brother bores promised he would devote his life to for a family who lost their child in a way that no one should have to.
