although my career with enhanced my set up and today we're gonna be reviewing the Arctic five heads. So the first thing I want to talk about this headset is the build quality is amazing. I've never actually had a better had said. That has been so, I guess, flexible and sturdy at the same time. So it makes it so great is that has just not an adjustable. But it has occur. Bandit, that's up. But I guess is the same one ski goggles. But it's ah, basically, so the headset itself doesn't actually rest on your head, but the band does, which is good, because that adjusts to everyone said, basically perfectly because it's a fabric. It's not like a click kind of maneuver thing that most that's really good. And also you can actually exchange amount for other colors. You can personalize your sense that's really cool. The cups on the sides have this foam like material or this fabricated, very readable material. So when you're in long sessions of our legal legends or diablo or something, your ears don't sweat, which is really, really good and really comfortable, because they actually I don't want to squish but they just don't know. They just working. I think they're amazing. Other great thing about build quality on the sunset is it's really, really minimalist. So even people that don't like minimalist kind of things and people that are minimalists kind of people. I'm pretty sure they get appreciate it because it's not a headset that's very bright were, as it were built to it, or it's huge and bulky. It's very it's very Excuse me. It's very compact and it's it comes to your head if that kind of makes sense, like, comes to your head and it's just very nice looking, you know, it's very sleek. It's all one color, so it's very, very so with every heads, every game against them. Most of them have built in mikes. So you guys definitely want to know what the mike sounds like. And you're going to know what the might. I'm sorry you're going to know what the mike sounds like because I've been using it for this entire review. So this is what the microphone sounds like if you can't tell or you want me to put it into simpler words for you or just explain further I've had multiple handsets. I've had to roll beaches. I've had other steel serious hand sense. I've even used larger tech. I remember what they were, but it was like the lodge attack. She It's the blue ones that Tyler one uses. So I've been doing all have used a lot of headsets and the best market film that I've used the turtle beaches. However, this microphone for the Arctic five comes very, very close, and in some regards, this microphone is actually better. I think this microphone has a better customization, if you will, so you can do more with it in the actual settings and one not to make it sound better. And I also think that this microphone has better crisp and fidelity in the turtle beaches. I just think Eternal Beaches has more realism if that makes sense and adds up to your voice. But I do think this one has more Chris crispness and fidelity is your voice also the fantastic. The beautiful thing about this microphone is that at audio canceling, so I have my computer right next to my on my desk, right next, just right next to me and you. You probably can't hear. It's probably very, very quiet. And as I'm recording this audacity, you know, to make it off some professional. I'm looking at the lines and they're not really moving up when I'm not talking, which means that there's no background, always because the microphone has amazing audio cancer feature. So I think it's amazing. It's great. It's good when you have brothers and sisters and just all the good stuff. So that's really, really great. And one more thing about the microphone is that it is retractable. Hit my mic right there. It is retractable, so it does go in your handset. That way, it's protected against maybe someone steps on your hands. I don't know why anyone would step on your hands, but let's say that happens. Your microphone probably be OK. That won't break, but regardless I won't get dust on it. All the kind of stuff if it's in your hands. Also, don't touch your headset because touch it, it's gonna sound like that. And it is horrible, So definitely do not do that. Keep it at about half an inch to an inch, maybe like two inches away from your face, and you be all right. Next thing is the L E. D. Is the lights, the pretty colors This headset has to led from the science, like I'm showing you its I think they're really great because it's just their minimalist and very perfect, like it's not like, uh, some keyboards have led is on them. But you can't choose what colors, what patterns with mode. So it's just annoying. Sometimes I'm like I'd rather just not even have the led is at all because I just don't like what they've done, but what steel Siri's did and you can even program. The led is with Thea. The software look that led is on the side are just perfect it by default. They cycle through all the colors of the rainbow or whatever, but the cycles through colors, and it's just a little ring around the headset. So it looks. It looks great. It's not somewhere logo that that's lighting up on the cider, and so it's really, really cool. I don't know what the purpose for it will be, however, who Who cares? You know, what was the purpose of having your keyboard do all this fancy stuff? So I just think it's really cool. So another feature about this headset is it does have this mic audio chat mixture thing. If you know it's probably not what it's called in that sack world, but that's what I'm with nickel and I'll show it to you guys. You know what I'm talking about? But it has this weird US be connector, so you have to plug it into the chat mixer so you can plug it ended. Anything else but is compatible with your phone with PC with Xbox A PS four is compatible with everything you do the you know us because we're not. But what makes it so great? This chat mixer is, Let's say you're in discord and you So you're playing Rainbow six, right? Rainbow six uses a lot of, ah, a lot of attentiveness to detail, and you have to use a lot of your ears, you know, believe or not to actually do things. So let's say you're in discordant, someone screaming, right? Someone just had a bad game in legal legends, and they're screaming, they're ******, but you cannot tab. For whatever reason, maybe your computer slow maybe about a clutch. If you have your chat. Make sure on the side like I do. It's it's kind of cable managed on my desk, but it's right next to me. I didn't We can just slide it That left and Pam were good, and you can think it a step further. If you don't want to make noise and then not have reciprocated sound. Come back to you as a response. You can just mute the mic on the side, so you're completely mute, which is fantastic. So I think it's a great feature. It's what makes us That's a lot better than the last census that I've had because I've used it. Ah lot. So yeah, it's just it's really, really good. And, believe it or not, this headset comes in at $100. I've had this headset for three or four years, 34 years now, more like for like 12 years, one or two years, and it's amazing. I haven't had any problems with that. I've dropped it once or twice and it hasn't broken, so that's good. It's not super, super fragile. I've been not. I mean, I've been pretty good with it. However, there have been times when I've kind of roughly putting on my desk and started on my desk. I do need a headset sent, but I have done that and it's perfectly find no scratches on that stuff. It still looks great. It still performs just like that. They have on it. So it's a great heads it for $100.
