Using a questionnaire which some mothers find intrusive and others unsettling, we write to label women who have trouble coping as post natal e depressed. Or is it time we re examined what a normal experience really is? As many as one in eight new mothers and now diagnosed with the condition? Motherhood is being medicalized, not just the birth, but what happens afterwards to more women than ever being told that their experience of motherhood is normal, that they are depressed.
