Martin has a busy life. He looks after his Children, has an exciting career, socialises with his friends and spend quality time with his wife. However, he has one big responsibility. His mother, Betty, is getting older and needs his help. Sometimes he often has to drop what he is doing and make sure Betty's okay. Everything can be exhausting. One day, Martin is out Christmas shopping with his family. When he receives a call, his mother has had a fall and has broken the leg. Maarten wishes he could have been there to prevent this, but he has other responsibilities, and Betty needs her independence. Luckily, while looking for an answer, Martin found Second Life monitoring. Second were able to instal some solutions that would really help. Better usually wakes up before 9 a.m. but today she's decided to have a lie in thanks to seconds motion detectors. Martin gets a notification, letting him know Ty's not up so he can contact her to make sure nothing's wrong. Quick call. And he knows she's okay. At six PM, Betty needs to take her medication. A sensor detects when this hasn't happened, and again Martin gets a notification. Another quick hole, and he can make sure she remembers. Betty likes to go to the shops on her own, but sometimes gets confused and wanders off course. Getting lost can be scary, but this time she has a second wearable device that lets Martin no, she's strayed away from home. Martin receives a notification that shows his mother's exact location on a map, jumps in his car and can quickly pick her up and take her home safely. It's Christmas Day. Presence had been unwrapped, the Christmas dinner eaten, and Martin has enjoyed a wonderful day with all the family, including his mother, because the greatest gift you can give it Christmas is each other.
