here at the University of SAn Diego's Crock School of Peace Studies, students are collaborating and learning what a more peaceful future can look like here. You're gonna learn more than theory, you'll be presented the opportunity to put theory into practice whether it's at an international border an internship and especially in the classroom, you'll be provided the opportunity to not only gain perspective but also challenge your own way of thinking prior to coming to the cross school human rights and working with youth as well. And so I was really drawn to the sort of piece aspect, but then a lot of my personal interests were focused on justice. Um so kind of having those two together and like, you know, just I feel like from the get go that there really nicely integrated. Um and I definitely find myself now moving a lot more in the justice directions. I'm learning how to work with different types of individuals and working with different stakeholders and different policy makers and understanding how their institutional change, like the way that they see institute film really works within the greater broader D. I. Framework and how we can use different perspectives to create greater change. I applied to the school because I wanted to help my community and my community, there's a lot of youth that aren't supported by the school systems that are labeled and treated as bad kids. So I came to the school because I want to learn how can I better, my community community is what we are striving to learn and practice here at the Prague school, you'll learn from amazing professors and from amazing students around you together. The goal is to learn, grow and work to understand what a more diverse and equitable future actually looks like I learned. Like it's okay to have conflicts, like it's okay to let people um to let tensions rise because that is when um solutions are created. And I feel that those two classes will allow me to like to better help the community and to help support the students, to figure out what is it that they need. Crock has given me the tools to question the status quo and and question policy that's already in place and and figuring out how we can change that policy. So join us here at the West Coast capital of Peace Education. We invite you, as you contemplate start or continue your journey here at the croc school, you're going to help us understand what a better form of community looks like. This place needs you, your voice, your perspective to help us see what we currently can. It's together, we can assist in remaking a more equitable world filled with peace and community
