when we were warm. A futuristic time travel romance by a B. Raphael in the morning. Way to early. Abby's phone rang. She answered it with her head still on the pillow. Roya suddenly appeared at her bedroom door, studying her face while she spoke on the phone. Who's calling? Abby asked sleepily. Yes, this is abigail light. Yes, I know, Gina Henderson. What? No, Abby sat straight up. But how? No way she would ever have done such a thing. I just saw her yesterday and everything was fine. She was so excited about. The abby broke down sobbing between tearful gasps. She replied. Yes, okay, thank you. Goodbye. Ending the call. She dropped her phone on the bed. Then she noticed a Roya standing in the doorway With one look at his face. She knew that he knew. Roya swallowed hard, nervous. Can I do anything? He asked. You knew, didn't you, yesterday? You knew that's what you were going to tell me at the cafe. Yes, I knew. But there was nothing we could do. They said she committed suicide, did she? No, of course not. She was murdered. Oh my God, she was eight months pregnant. What kind of a monster would do that? I think you know what kind you work with them every day? Arroyo replied. Abby rubbed her eyes. She walked into the bathroom, grabbing a wad of toilet paper. She blew her nose. Why couldn't we stop it? She asked, sniffling. There wasn't enough time. Arroyo replied. Sometimes you can, but for big things mostly you can't. It depends on the event and the time. Do you know everything before it happens, I'll be asked. No. Just sometimes with certain people, Abby shuffled over to the kitchen table, slumping over, depressed. Shall I make some tea? Arroyo asked. Sure, Abby replied, despondent. Arroyo put the kettle on the stove, then sat with abby at the table. Abby propped her head up with her elbow, contemplating the situation. So ****** up. God! Everything is so ****** up! She exclaimed, Gina. In the hospital. No, it's all horrible Roy aside, leaning back in his chair. You might find this hard to believe Abby. But these are actually the good times. The good times as compared to what as compared to what's still to come. God, I can't even imagine trust me, You're fortunate to be living in 2019. Arroyo said. Millie knocked at the door and abby let her in. Her eyes were red and swollen. It was clear she had been crying. Gina called me last night, Millie said, between sniffles, she left a voicemail saying she wanted to do the interview. I returned her call this morning and a detective answered the phone. She wiped her eyes. Look on your faces, assume you already know. Yeah, Abby replied. They say it was suicide, but it wasn't really took a chance asking one more time, are you ready now to tell the world what you know? **** yeah. Sign me up, Abby replied with a new fire in her voice. Someone's got to stop this Happy, you know, you're my dearest friend, Millie said, and you know, I'll do everything to protect you. Time was of the essence they planned a live interview for that evening.
