I picked out a cheddar biscuit from community cafe, our friend Dell's place. I wanted to shove the entire thing in my mouth, but I convinced myself not to. Dell's biscuits are the size of softballs and have the calorie count of an entire farm of extra crispy fried chicken, which is why they're so good. I took my time with it, savoring each small bite. Like it was my last, What are you going to tell? Mr Bennett? I side at the thought of that conversation and also because I knew I'd end up eating the whole biscuit. I'm going there this morning. I just have to pull some photos of other Civil War era homes to bring along. I hope with that and my design suggestions, I can convince him to go with what the board wants or at least something close, which I might be able to get them to approve. What about the pool? I don't see that happening. Pools were only for the wealthy back then, Not just back then. I smiled still. I can't see the board changing their mind on that. I've been the Castleberry Georgia Historical Society manager for three years and most of the time I loved the job Olivia and I worked well together and had become good friends even though I'm just a few years younger than her mom. I loved the desire by most everyone to keep castle berries history alive. The board my, I could do without them. I've moved back home from Birmingham Alabama with my then Tween aged son after a tough divorce from the man. I thought I'd spend the rest of my life with Austin and I moved into my childhood home. The one my parents kept preserved just like it had been when I was a kid. They had passed a few years ago and at first I kept the home almost completely as they had left it. But with some encouragement a k A pressure from Austin, we just finished a complete remodel. I love the place both ways, but I missed that childhood home feeling you were able to change your place and you did it in keeping with the character of the community. Olivia said, but my house isn't a historical property I know, but in a test to your commitment to the community and to making sure things stay within its character. The board should know that it's not my commitment. They're worried about it's Jon Benet's lack of respect for pretty much everything they want. He's a bully. She leaned forward and whispered, he does act like someone's peed in his grits. Every time I see him I laughed. I can name five people who have probably done that, Jon Benet didn't choose Castleberry, his ex wife did like me. She moved here with their son after the divorce and when she let him know they'd landed here, he packed up and left boston without looking back and he'd never let anyone in town forget it. He's a northerner through and through and our southern hospitality hasn't rubbed off on him yet. It's a common issue in small towns like Castleberry. It takes some time for the rush and tension of living in the north to wear off. But once it does, those northerners relax and enjoy our laid back lifestyle.
