Dwarves are a people of stone ancient as the mountains roots where we were born industrious as the gods who made us strong as the metal we worked. It all changed millennia ago when our creator tore, shook the earth, calling us upward to a surface. We had never known a harrowing journey. We remember as the quest for sky, a journey that would have failed if not for an unlikely dwarf's leadership. Tar, he was born as the earthquake subsided. And what dwarf doesn't dream of taking up their ancestors arms and experiencing adventures of their own adventures, worthy of Toks, legacy adventures, taking them far below the surface to become foul creatures next meal and where deathless fiends gnaw on whatever is left. I certainly did. And I was a fool. But what I didn't know was that this was the start of something far greater, far more than I could handle alone. No, this was never my story. This is a story of daredevils, braving cities of malice and Majesty. A story of seekers grappling with a terrible past, a story of survivors overcoming any danger, the dark lands throw at them, a story of heroes discovering the Sky King's tomb. This is your story now.
