Washington County Business Council was formed 14 years ago by a small group of businessmen. Its purpose was to effectively promote and protect the interests of small businesses with the respect toe local, regional and state government, as well as promote an environment where our businesses, our employees and the greater community with a minimum of intrusion and cost by government. Small businesses are the backbone of Washington County. The Washing County Business Council meets once a month on the second Tuesday of the month at the Reserve Golf Course. Each month, they have speakers that inform the council about what is going on in Washington County, the Portland Metro area and in the state of Oregon. In January, the speaker will be informing the council members on employee fraud, and in February it will be on the new tax bill.
