Guadalajara, capital of the state of Jalisco and one of the most important capitals of Mexico. It's famous for its gastronomy, it's beautiful women and for being an icon of tequila and mariachi. It has a surface of 814 km2 and a population of 1,500,000 inhabitants almost five decades ago. It was called a bicycle town. This term is used to refer to cities or small towns whose urban infrastructure is so small that the number of cars per habitants is minimum and bicycles are the best option of transportation. But is Guadalajara currently a bicycle town.
