Hello, Welcome. My name is Kevin Long. Long ago, millions of years before humans existed, a great reptile species ruled the Earth. Planet Earth looked very different from the world we live in today. But through the discovery of thousands of fossils every year by scientists called paleontologist, a great deal of information has been pieced together about the creatures we now called dinosaurs. It's easy to forget that during the reign of the dinosaurs, they lived alongside other mammals, lizards and birds. But what the land living group of reptiles we now called dinosaurs had in common were their legs went directly straight down underneath the body rather than from the side. Like their reptile relatives. From a small is a chicken to the weight of 25 elephants. These spectacular reptiles came in all different shapes and sizes, some with horns like the iconic try, Sarah tops some with skin like armor and a club in detail, like the Anke Loh saurus and some with tough Scalea skin. Like the carnotaurs, the species also varied and diet habits. Some dinosaurs were meat eating carnivores who would hunt down and pray on the gentle plant eating herbivores and some we called Omnivores who ate a variety of meat and plans
