plastic is the miracle invention that made modern life much more convenient. But it's disposability. Issues have made it nature's biggest nightmare. Invented over 100 years ago, plastic takes up to 500 years to biodegrade. How does this affect our environment? 86% of plastic based cannot be recycled. It cannot be burnt because it will release. Toxic gas is so most plastic waste gets buried underground or flows into the ocean. This creates giant mountains of plastic raised that home, the ecosystem and, ultimately, human time.
