the other side. A Journey of Dreams, Delusions and Dilemmas by Dave How. Published by Pilate and Publishing. Tulsa, Oklahoma. FORWARD One of the problems that I have always had with faith books is that they are not really a world that is, they only tell half of the story. The good half. This book is different because Dave and Tammy how are different. I have known the how more years than I want to remember. I was invited to preach a revival by a local pastor. One young man in his late teens stood out. I returned for another meeting the next year, and he was still there and still standing out. I felt a spiritual connection, and during the course of the meeting, I was led by the Holy Spirit to confirm the call of God on his life, which included, speaking of prophetic word over his life, I also gave him a fairly nice, fairly expensive diamond ring that had been given to me. The congregation went wowed because he was their fair headed preacher boy. I don't suppose that we exchanged more than a few words, but a god kind of connection was made by the way. I really liked that ring, but not to worry. The law of sowing and reaping always work, and I have had a lot of much nicer rings since then. A few years later, Dave made another kind of connection and married Tammy. Some of the church folks were a gas because Tammy was a loving young Christian woman, but she didn't share Dave's Holiness church background. And knowing how these things go wasn't the one they had planned for him. Plus, she waas and is a force in her own right. But it was a good connection and a God connection, and you'll read about it as you go through the other side. Did you notice the word connection in the last two paragraphs? This book is about connection. Divine connections, personal connections, business connections, God kind of connections. It tells the whole story. The ups and downs, twists and turns, good days, bad days, worst days and better days. It's a really world book, and, as you read it, your discovered amazing couple who have had an incredible journey and they're sharing it with you. A few years later, Dave and Tammy invited me to speak at the church they had with gun pastoring in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. The next year my wife, Connie, joined me. When I returned for a second meeting. The connection became stronger because that's what connections are supposed to do. Become stronger. Over the years, I've spoken for the house. Many time become privy to their world. Seen them experience what you will read about in this book, and I've seen their faith and God's grace as they have met their challenges and prevailed. Today, they pastor a fine church runs several successful companies as well as a global humanitarian organizations. Oh, and that's just a little off what they do. What day first told me that he was writing the other side. I was excited, but I knew that there really world experiences would help others to get to the other side. It's neither happened stands no accident that has caused you to pick up this book more than likely it a serendipity of divine direction that has made that happen. As you read, your faith will grow, solutions will be revealed, and perhaps I hope a connection will be made because this is a book about connections and we all need them in our lives. I'm thankful for the connections. I've counted it up over 40 years that we have had with Dave and Tammy Hall. You'll be thankful that you've read this book. Happy reading. Dr Leon Stutman, founder and pastor of Aspire Church, Dayton, Ohio, and Science of Empowered Living Fellowship. He is also the author of seven books, including The Theory of Everything.
