Whatever it is, it gives you a sense of calm, as if the rest of the world has faded away. 18 77 A prospector by the name of Ed Schieffelin discovered silver in the hills of the San Pedro River Valley. Within months, hundreds of other prospectors began flooding the area. Saloons and hotels soon followed, and by 18 79 the Town of Tombstone was born. For the 1st 10 years of his acting career, John Wayne starred in one B movie after another. Then, in 1939 Wayne landed a role in the movie stage coach. The film earned seven Academy Award nominations, including best picture, and it turned John Wayne into one of the hottest actors in Hollywood. Just because you don't see them doesn't mean they're not there. The truth is, homelessness is a national problem. It affects every city, town and community in America. In fact, one out of every 30 Children will be homeless at some point this year. Here at the Raleigh Rescue mission, we're doing something about it. Mhm
