Communities in schools, also known as C. I. S, is a program offered at your school. The program is free and it is your choice if you want to participate. There is a communities in schools room on campus, and that is where you can find the C. I. S. Program manager who supports students at your school. On some campuses, there may be other communities and schools, adults on campus. To help out these adults, maybe C. I. S. Staff, volunteers, college interns or AmeriCorps members.
