This is an excerpt from my favorite book, George Orwell's 1984 Part one. There was a bright cold day in April, and the clocks were striking. 13. When's the Smith, his chin nuzzled into his breast in an effort to escape, The vile wind slipped quickly through the glass doors of interventions, though not quick enough to prevent a swirl of gritty dust from entering along with him. The hallways melt. A boiled cabbage and old rag mats at one end of it ah colored poster too large for indoor display have been tacked to the wall. It depicted simply an enormous face more than a meter wide, the face of a man about 45 with a heavy black moustache on ruggedly handsome features Winston made for the stairs. It was no use trying to lift, even in the best of times, it was seldom working, and at present you let your current was cut off during daylight hours. It was a part of the economy drive in preparation for a week, the flat with seven flights up, and Winston, who was 39 had a very close old sir, both his right ankle went slowly resting several times on the way on each landing opposite of the lift shaft. The poster with the enormous face gaze from the wall. It was one of those pictures which are so contrived the eyes follow you. Big Brother is watching you. The caption beneath it ran.
