Description
In terms of emotive affect, my voice has a wide range. Currently, I write and record theater reviews for the Broadway Channel, airing in Manhattan hotels, and on Time Warner, RCN and Cablevision. I find that my voice can be buoyant in talking about an exciting new musical, sultry in describing a romantic drama, or dry when discussing a revival of a Beckett play. My strength as a voice-over begins with understanding what I'm talking about and communicating it in the style of the message.
Having developed my interest in doing voice-over work through my interviews with playwrights on PBS (In The Life) and by interviewing celebrities for radio stations such as WOR and (Website hidden), my voice-overs tend to be conversational in tone. In that respect, they reflect my personality.
