My name is Jack Isa Land and I live in Chicago, Illinois. I met Sal a little over two years ago at work. Actually, I saw him and I had to talk to him. So I asked him where the coffee Waas. He told me where. And then he asked me to get him a coffee. Honestly, that's when I knew it was love because I was so excited to get someone a cup of coffee. But really, I knew that I loved him six months in, I started crying and I went to the bathroom and he stopped me. And he told me that it was okay that he loved me and I felt safe and that everything would always be okay with him. It melts my heart when he talks about his family and my family. Seeing him with his little brother and my niece makes me love him even more when he's not around. Actually uses body wash because I love the way he smells. He has this man smell like Old Spice mixed with bourbon and a cigar. It drives me crazy. How early he wakes me up, but there's usually breakfast involved, so it's worth it, and thank goodness he can cook when he's not around. I must sleep even more, though, because I have a really hard time falling to sleep without him there. We did break up. We got back together shortly after because being apart was the worst feeling in the world. It felt like my world was undated, and I missed my best friend. I have an amazing family and friends. I couldn't be luckier to have so much love in my life. But the love Sal and I share it checks all the boxes. It's not only the romantic kind of love, but he's also my friend and he's my family.
