spies, covert operations. Rumours of dark influence As the world wonders how far Russia will go, there's a clue from a shocking case. Just over a decade ago, its full storey is still untold. The murder of a British citizen on British soil using the deadliest poison known to man. 10 years on, Alexander Litvinenko's killers are still at large and for his family, no justice. The detectives who investigated the murder have never before spoken. But now they Litvinenko's widow on the son he left behind tell the inside storey for the first time. It's a storey that reads like a Cold War crime thriller, but his darker than any fiction. In Japan, there is rice. There is fish on, there is noodle, and the noodle that rules over all others is Rahman. It is, without a doubt, the most popular dish in all of Japan, but it is much more than just a meal. It's an institution, a way of life, and the style's very greatly between regions. In Yokohoma, where Rahman first appeared supers, fatty and salty elsewhere, the broth is pork and chicken based, or me, so based. But whatever the regional style ramen is always being tinkered with, Chefs around the country are constantly experimenting with new flavours and techniques. Dave Chang and his power food writer Peter Mian are in Tokyo's trout. Chang's favourite Rahman Supermen, a style that first appeared here in 1954. They visit the Ramen shop where Superman style ramen debuted and a legend was born.
