in this video we'll go over how to post on instagram from your computer pc or Mac. We'll also show you how to do it with Hoot suite which works on either operating system and is quick and easy to use to post on instagram from your pc. You need to have google chrome. If you don't have chrome, download it from Windows apps then go to instagram dot com on your chrome browser. Go to the settings of your browser by tapping on the three dots on the right hand side from there, click on more tools, then developers tools. You'll then see the developer window for chrome. This window allows developers to test and debug their websites and apps but we're going to use it for instagram, tap the mobile button, then select which mobile interface you'd like to use under the drop down window. Once you've chosen a mobile interface you'd like to use refresh the page and you'll see the mobile interface on your browser. You're now able to post on instagram from your desktop as you would on your phone. To post on instagram from a mac. You can use google chrome, just like in the directions for a pc or you can use mac's default browser. Safari for Safari. Follow these steps, go to instagram dot com on your Safari browser, go to the preferences menu of Safari, click advanced in this menu, check the box next to show develop menu in the menu bar. The develop menu will now appear at the top menu bar in the developed menu, click user agent, then choose which mobile interface you'd like to see. It should populate with the latest iphone IOS. The web page will refresh. Once you make your choice, you can now upload post onto instagram from your Mac the way you normally would with your mobile device to post on instagram from your desktop with a social media management tool like huts. We'd follow these five steps. Don't have Hoot suite, Click the link in the right hand corner of your screen to try it free for 30 days. You can cancel the trial at any time and besides being able to post instagram from your computer. Hoot suite also allows you to plan, create and scheduled content across multiple social networks.
