This is a poem entitled the D. M V By Just Jewell. Next croaks the lady behind the desk. My, how you doing goes unheard or ignored. I released the papers clinched to my chest. She paperclips and groans your number 104 Moving on to the sitting station This hard ash chair takes my back The endless wait tests my patience. I hear angry patrons start to black. Just my luck of all the empty seats her mother and her toddler. Here they go. The smelly diaper aroma starts to leak. Lady carries on like she don't know babies well, and squirm on and on as clerks nail along at their own pace, afraid to **** because my term might be gone About ready to smack the snow or a man in the face No food or drink allowed in here. What the **** are they kidding me? Past breakfast and lunch Hunger pain so severe these mofo has got to be ******** me. Still, I wait with no end in sight until finally my number is called. My heart thumps with joy As robots blast through the mic nervously I step up to the stall I hand over my stacks of paper papers. I had toe fill and refill out. Hoping all goes in my favor. The clerks facial expression feeds me doubt your vehicles are registered. Just one thing. The lifeless lady monotone Lee says to me. You need one more point of identity. I sigh sadly as I turn and leave thinking on Lee at the D. M V on Lee at the D. M. V.
