Starbucks are running the scheme for the National Institute for the Elderly and hope it will contribute to the community as a whole. There have been adjustments made for the 14 employees, such as lower shelves, shorter shifts and medical insurance. Good opportunity for the old people to get a job on, get something to do. It's a hard job, no matter your age. But I feel like such an active job would be especially difficult for certain senior citizens. A senior citizen won't be is used to technology, so they might not know what to do, which could be inconvenient for both sides. Christian Judea, CEO off Starbucks Mexico felt this initiative opened up doors to people on will help boost our quality of life. Without a doubt, they will certainly deserve a coffee break after their shift.
