once there was a crow who was very thirsty. As he flew over the farmlands, he saw an old picture sitting near a house. Maybe there's water in that picture, he thought and flew down. The Crow landed near the black and gold vessel and looked inside. There was water in it at the bottom. He stuck his beak inside, but the picture was too tall. He couldn't reach the water. The sun rose high in the sky. The crow grew even more parched. Ah if I don't get some water soon I will die! He croaked. He had to get that water. But what could he do if he turned the picture over? The water would run out on the ground. He looked about trying to think of a way to get to the water. Then he saw small stone lying on the ground. Suddenly he had an idea. He picked up the stone in his beak. He dropped it in the picture. It made a soft, clunking noise as it hit the water. This will work very nicely. Car! The Crow thought to himself.
