Hello, this is Kendall Charles Retard. Oh, this is a test reading. Family fun activities. This is take one family fun activities. These activities will provide a review of the concepts explored on the workbook pages. Number one subtracting. While you're out, look for ways to review subtraction concepts. For example, how many people are in line at the grocery store count. How many are wearing something red. Subtract the number of people with red from the total group. How many people are not wearing something red. Number two playing card subtraction. Using the same deck of cards. The First Player Draws two Cards. The smaller number is subtracted from the larger number. If the answer is correct, the player keeps the cards and plays again. When a wrong answer is given, the cards are returned to the bottom of the deck and play advances to the player to the left, continue playing until all the cards are gone. The player with the most cards wins, Reshuffle and play again. Number three make your own story problems, Start a story problem and have the child finished the problem, then change places and let the child tell the story. A story you might tell is I went to the store and bought six apples, You Ate two of the Apples. How many apples are left? Try telling other subtraction stories. Number four, reward stickers. Use reward stickers to celebrate a job. Well done. You or the child can choose when to place a sticker on a specific page. You sticker as a reward. When the child completes a page that requires extra care or is a little more difficult, the child can choose to play stickers on pages he or she is proud of completing.
