I won't ever forget what happened that morning was what my mother said. It was freshly washed beech leaves, those freshly washed spiderwebs and that freshly washed sky. Each and every single thing was glittering in the sunlight. To my mother, it felt like the entire world had been reborn overnight. The year after that I moved out of our home and into the middle school dorms, Looking back at those 12 years she spent raising us, my mother said they passed by her in the blink of an eye, like it was a fairy tale, and she said it with a smile on her face, one of complete satisfaction, and she said it while looking at a far away peak. That smile of her makes me extremely happy to this day. My mother still lives peacefully in that mountain house.
