Hello, everyone. My name is Alexis Calhoun, and you are tuning into a life with Lexie. This is the very first episode of this podcast, and I'm super excited to be here. This has been something that I've been wanting to do for quite some time, and I'm finally doing it, so I'm excited. So, um, basically, on today's episode, we're just going to be out. Well, I'm just gonna be giving you information about myself and let you guys get to get to know me a little bit and just tell you what the purpose and you know, the plan. Whatever you wanna call it, um is behind this podcast and why I created it. Just giving you some background stuff about it. So, like I said, um, my name is Alexis Calhoun. I am 29 years old. I am a wife to Rodriguez Calhoun, a k a. Rod, the God. Um um, a mother to six beautiful Children. And I'm doing life. Your life definitely comes with the struggles. We currently reside in Jacksonville, Florida, and I love it here. Your I'm a small seed girl. I'm from one A robins Georgia. You know where that is? young men. I know it is, but it's It's a small city outside of making, which is outside of Atlanta. So I'm close to Ellen. If you have no idea. Actually, unlike an hour and 1/2 2 hours away from Elena, someone out scarce. A family enough for millennia. Yeah. If you if you don't know what Robin is the, um um that's where I'm from. And, um, I'm excited of my husband has afforded me the opportunity to travel a little bit with his job. So I've been to Kansas City, Missouri, of lives in Maxwell, Tennessee. I lived in Atlanta, Um, and I've been homeless, but, you know, we'll dig into that. Well, we'll dig all into that I am on a future episode. Um, so, yeah, basically, this podcast is, um, just me share my life experiences and relating with someone or someone relating with me and just, you know, motivating them to keep going. Life definitely has its struggles. And, you know, there's so many things that we have to deal with that we may not and have the answer to. We may feel like, you know, we can't get through, but I'm here to tell you that you'll get through, you definitely get through it. And it may seem impossible right now, but I know that you know, there is a God who is always looking out for you and you know who's always there and leading you and getting you in every area of your life. So I've definitely been to that bottom to that low place. And this, I mean, we're just gonna get really is not gonna be. Oh, you know, people probably pick it all. Here she go, you know, being all churchy. And there's a little all this old little church podcast, and I don't let me tell you, I grew. I grew up in church, and I indefinitely I love church. I love God. Don't get me wrong, But I've definitely experienced, um, some life changing experiences and this is not going to be your typical churchy charge. E podcasts. We're gonna do life we're gonna get really is gonna be funny. You're gonna you know, you're gonna laugh. You're gonna cry, you know, is it? This is a life, you know, give life be riel podcast, and, um I mean, of course I'm going to talk about God and, you know, motivate you guys. And you don't give you that extra boost that you need throughout the day because I am a believer in Jesus Christ. But, I mean, this is not going to be what you what you would expect, You know, I'm saying, you know, chart. It really has a a bad tagged to it right now. But, you know, we'll dig into that. You know, I'm just going keep it real with you guys and just give you something you relate to. Um So, uh so, yeah, that's what this podcast is going to be about. I hope you guys, you know, find something or hear something that I say that you can take with you. If it's just one person, you know who I motivated who are uplifted and encouraged to keep going, then I feel like I've done my job. I'm here to help people. Y'all. I'm helper, and, um, I feel like I've gone through a lot. And my life hasn't any other saying she 29 years old, you know, she she I'm 45. Sheen experience. You know, the stuff that I've experienced in my life, but yeah, yeah, I have lived life, OK? And I'm here to just push somebody to keep going because the struggle is definitely real. But so is god. I'm here to be light to someone and which is basically, you know, help somebody else get through their day. And I'm excited, you know?
