We believe that the introduction of a new Abbotsford neighborhood will be environmentally and economically valuable for the area and the existing businesses and communities surrounding it. Presently, the site stands in its current state is a reminder of an incomplete concept. But by keeping the desire to protect and restore the area's natural beauty at the forefront of the high line project, we believe we can reverse the ecological degradation of the area while finding a practical solution for the land. Highline has been designed with 42 acres dedicated to parks and greenery, and in addition to these dedications, will have substantial internal green space incorporated throughout the development from reclaiming the streams, which once ran through the area to ensuring only 12% residential site coverage. We want every action that goes into the rebuilding of the area to reflect a harmony between the land and the Highline community level.
