Description

Art Direction:
The voice actor for this narration will read this story as if they’ve read it a hundred times to a child who finds deep comfort in the familiar cadence & intonation added to the story by the actor. This is an excerpt nearing the end of the story, to be read in an even, relaxed pace.

It was light now, for the moon had risen. The forest was beautiful, and the fawns of the bracken shone like frosted silver in the open glade between the tree trunks. The wild rabbits danced with their shadows on the velvet grass, but when they saw the fairy they all stopped dancing and stood round in a ring to stare at her. I've brought you a new play fellow, the fairy said. You must be very kind to him and teach him all he needs to know in rabbit land, for he's going to live with you forever and ever. And she kissed little rabbit and put him down on the grass. Run and play little rabbit, she said.
