Description

Earlier this year I wrote, read and recorded the audio description for Edie's theatrical release.
From imdb: 83 year old Edie believes that it is never too late - packing an old camping bag, leaving her life behind and embarking on an adventure she never got to have - climbing the imposing Mount Suilven in Scotland.

between the road amounts 11 lie miles of harsh brown Moreland rising up into a range of rocky hills that half obscured the dark wall of the mountain. The view pulls back to take in the vast, unspoiled wilderness. Hedy follows a gravelly path, pushing along with her walking poles. She heads towards a mossy valley between two small, rocky hills. Her eyes drink deeply of the landscape. Winds dances in yellow green leaves of a tree. A stream bubbles fiercely down the cleft of the valley. Edie watches in wonder, then sets off again with a smile. She follows the path of the stream towards the waterfall, white water tumbling down through jagged rocks. With her jacket and hat removed and her bag discarded. Eadie sits on the outcrop of rock high above, where the falls of cupcake break on the rocks beneath the yellow leaves of a young tree dance in the wind, Edie listens intently. The sun glints of the canopy, catching on their furry edges, E. D stands beneath, touching them with a fingertip. She picks one and strokes it across the back of her hand.
