in 2000 and 18 humanity faced a catastrophic disaster. An Ebola virus has mutated. People have stopped behaving like humans, and they have turned into blood thirsty zombies. It only took a few weeks for the world to be infected. It happened faster than we all expected. A small group of survivors continue fighting for their lives and are hopeful they could find a cure. They locate basements and military faults for safety, trying not to attract any attention from the zombies. Russ Coleman, one of the survivors and microbiologist, managed to set up a small lab. After receiving word from government officials and performing some tests, Russ was able to create a working vaccine. His vault lost power and stopped responding. A radio signal went out to a nearby fault to find survivors. They sent a message to the South vault.
