The night sky is ablaze with stars. Hundreds of billions in our galaxy alone, many larger, brighter and more majestic than our sun. On the scale of Galaxies and stars, the planets of our solar system are little more than grains of sand caught momentarily in the light of the sun. But on those moats of dust for over 4 billion years, great stories have played out unseen stories of worlds born and worlds lost planets forged amongst the calm and the chaos. Their destinies is more entwined than we ever imagined. We know this because in the last few decades, we've sent spacecraft to all seven of the world beyond our own. These are the stories that they return to earth. The stories of the planets in Britain, almost 70,000 people across all communities under the age of 25. Now consider themselves to be gang members in London. Today, there are said to be up to 4000 people in close to 250 street gangs, increasingly gangs recruit younger members as foot soldiers to use in their drug operations in London. In 2017, 25 teenagers were killed as a result of gang related activity. The pattern of revenge and retaliation provides a never ending cycle of unforgiving violence. Gang culture is now destroying families from every community in the UK who are then left to deal with the fallout. To get the inside story from real gang members, we gave them cameras and allowed them to film their own lives telling us what it's really like on the streets of the UK today.
