Who was John Manet? Jump in a Patricia Ramsey August 6 1990 through December 25 or 26 1996 was a six year old American girl found dead in her family's home in Boulder, Colorado. 1 December 26 1996. Jon Benet Ramsey was born in Atlanta, Georgia, the younger of the two Children of Patricia and Patsy and Jon Benet Ramsey. She has an older brother, Burke Ramsey. Born 1987 Her first name is a portmanteau of her father's first and middle names. At the time of her death, Jon Bonet was enrolled in kindergarten at High Peaks Elementary School in Boulder, Colorado. She was interred at ST James Episcopal Cemetery in Marietta, Georgia. Her grave is next to that of her mother, who died of ovarian cancer in 2006 and that of her half sister, Elizabeth Pash Ramsey, daughter of John Ramsey and his first wife, Lucinda Pash. Investigation. What followed was what some say were unforgivable errors by the Boulder Police Department. The crime scene was compromised when John Ramsey brought his daughter upstairs. The Ramseys were not immediately and separately interviewed for the next four years, the investigation came up short with the Ramseys themselves as first suspects. The evidence, though circumstantial, crucified the Ramseys in the eyes of the public. The ransom note was written on paper belonging to the Ramseys. Fiber found on the duct tape used to bind the child was consistent with that found on patsies clothing. On December 13 1999 the Boulder grand jury brought the $2 million investigations to an inconclusive close. The Ramsey family moved to Atlanta, Georgia, and published a memoir, The Death of Innocence in 2000 to counter the media persecution they felt had ruined their lives. After going through the evidence and conducting interviews with some of those involved in the case, a panel of law enforcement specialists all agreed on the theory that Burke Ramsey killed his sister, Jon Bonet, during Christmas 1996.
