We Oregonians have been pioneering since the early 1800s. Back in the 60s, we pioneered a law to make beaches public. We did it again with the bottle bill. Then in the 90s, we held the nation's first statewide vote by mail election. I voted by mail in every election since it's safe and secure. And I trust my local county clerk to do it right.
