Hello, I'm Vicky uh, Vicky voice is it? Thank you for checking out my website. I want to take this opportunity to tell you a little bit about myself. I have a Bachelor of science in public speaking from Kansas State University. As an undergrad, I competed nationally in public speaking events and as a graduate student, I taught the introductory public speaking course and I was a coach for the forensics team over the years. I have worn many hats. I was a communications officer in the marine corps, a fitness instructor and personal trainer, a professional dancer, a costumer and a tailor and retail manager. The thing that all of these occupations have in common is they all required that I have the ability to convey information clearly and effectively. Not only have I needed to use language correctly, I've had to engage my listeners and tune into their emotions in order to persuade, inform or entertain them. I am quite versatile in the styles of speaking that I'm capable of. I can present a rapid fire set of facts in a new Z style or I can love the listener into a state of deep calm with a slower, more soothing pattern or anything in between. I'm a fairly good mimic and while my natural speech is un accented, I can easily slip into talking as though I'm from somewhere in the american southeast Texans will always appreciate a nice draw or sit in the palla and have a beer in boston, whatever your needs regarding accent. I'm happy to study in order to deliver an authentic accent that fits your needs. So that's a little about me. I hope you've enjoyed this brief tour and I look forward to hearing from you in the near future regarding your recording needs.
