There are times when older people just need someone to talk to. More than 200,000 say that they feel lonely All or most of the time. We're here to listen, offer support and have a friendly chat through our friendship line. We also help older people to reconnect with activities or volunteering through our community connecting service. Our community development team support and enable older peoples' groups across Scotland, helping them to thrive so that members have the opportunity to socialise, build new skills and feel part of their community. Our vital work across Scotland contributes to older people having a more effective voice, improved health and well being and feeling more independent, secure, connected and included.
