When it comes to our mental health, we all manage things differently. This means it's not always easy to know when someone struggling, but there are signs you can look out for. Maybe someone's wearing a hard outer shell while others will act and smile sweetly. Everything is wonderful when in fact they're hiding a little sting. Some will be disengaged and appear a little flat, and others could act sour when they're not feeling all that. Being aware of the signs is a good thing to know, to check in on a friend or teammate who's feeling so so you don't need answers or to be an expert because simply checking in and listening can heal all kinds of hurt. So how could you ask, Are you OK?
