Experience

I love doing voices. For as long as I can remember I have enjoyed mimicking voices, noises, and sound affects. Wherever I go I pick up on the unusual sounds I hear and try to recreate what I have heard. I take inspiration from the sounds I have heard in movies, on television, in video games, and on the street. I live in a small town where there is little opportunity to pursue voice acting in person so I am excited to be using voices.com to help me pursue my passion of voice acting. Since my interest in sounds piqued I began learning and practicing a variety of instruments: guitar, bass, percussion and beatboxing, as well as fine tuning my vocal skills: singing, sound affects, beatboxing. I have acquired a variety of recording equipment and am able to record with excellent quality from my home studio.

I take direction well, and I also enjoy improv. I am a hard worker, and will dedicate my time and energy to projects I work on. Since I was a little kid my siblings and I would do little skits and plays, which are documented on home videos, to now beat boxing for live audiences - I have always enjoyed creating unique sounds and voices. I would love to work on videos game projects as well as movie trailers, cartoons, movies, commercials, jingles or making sound affects. Thanks for considering me to be a potential applicant.

Education

In 2008 I graduated high school. I did 4 years of choir as well as acting in which we did improv, monologues and stuff like that. I also did play production in which we built the sets for all of plays/musicals the school put on. I have also completed some college courses at DeVry University where I did graphic design and building website designs.
