Emily's passion for her work is complimented by her persistence, resilience, and inexhaustible work ethic. She’s narrated more than 275 audiobooks and has also worked in film, television, and theater. Born and raised in New York, Emily moved to Los Angeles shortly after receiving her BFA in drama from New York University's Tisch School of the Arts. She also had the privilege of living in London while studying at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA). Her other passions include traveling, LARPing, aerial circus, and chocolate.

I received my BFA from New York University, Tisch School of the Arts, in 2011. While there, I received vocal training from several teachers. I studied the vocal theories and practices of Catherine Fitzmaurice and Kristin Linklater. I also did a semester abroad in London at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA).
Previous to my university training, I took voice lessons for eight years (mezzo-soprano). I was privileged to participate in the NYSSMA All State Choir in 2006. I participated in the NYSSMA All County Choir for many years. NYSSMA stands for New York State School Music Association.
