I am a cartoonist, animator, and voice actor for my own cartoons ... it has only been a hobby, but I would love to break into the more professional realm. In high school and college I was a character actor in the theater, where I could put my voice talent to good use - I loved being able to express my inner energy, and would love to make a career out of it.
My voice slightly resembles that of Rob Paulsen or maybe even Mel Blanc to some extent - nasal, with a wide range of tones. I am able to emulate several voices from cartoons, do impressions, as well as create my own voices. I can also do various dialects and accents, such as, Southern, Jersey, Midwestern, Irish, Scottish, Russian, German, Austrian, Australian, New Zealand, Italian, British (Cockney, Scouse, General), and Pirate.
I have a voice more suited for high-energy, whimsical, idiosyncratic cartoon characters, which is one reason why I love voicing my own animations, but I can also do deeper, more serious, or even threatening voices (eg- cops, gangsters, thugs), albeit, slightly exaggerated.
I have a good ear, dynamic larynx, and I would love to be able to share my talent with others on a larger scale.
