I am a happy, down to earth person, who can adapt well to situations and is a fast learner. I like talking and interacting with people and I like to make a difference, I am also creative and have a vivid imagination. I possess a lot of common sense and am capable of any task set which I would always strive to do to the best of my ability. I am seeking a permanent career in the world of Radio and Television; I have a strong interest in current affairs in addition I also find the Law fascinating. Outside of the workplace, I am interested in other activities such as drama, performance, literature, and exercise. I have helped write and perform pantomimes with my friends in order to raise money for charity and up until 16 I attended a drama group that regularly performed in our local theatre. I also enjoy spending time with my friends, I love cinema, film and radio and generally having a good time.

Trainee Radio Journalist – National Broadcasting School - Radio City, Liverpool
Dates – 03/09/12 – 08/12/12
I am currently studying to become a Radio Journalist at Radio City in Liverpool. The course is a 13 weeks intensive and I will therefore be qualified by December. The location of the course is fantastic as it is in a live Radio station, thus providing us with practical hands on experience. I have also had some of my interviews and work broadcast on Radio City’s City Talk.

My week at Heart FM taught me all the different aspects that make up commercial radio. Throughout the week I found I had a talent and a particular interest in the News broadcasting section, a talent that I am currently pursuing.
Chichester Hospital Radio - St. Richards Hospital
Dates – Nov 2011 – Sept 2012
I volunteered at Chichester Hospital Radio on a Wednesday night for a year before starting my Radio Journalist Course. The show involved going around the wards to accumulate song requests from the patients, and then playing them on our show, The Listeners Choice.
